Owner/President
BEHIND KEC
For Mark Kleinknecht, KEC is more than a business. It’s his past, his present and his future. He comes in as the third generation of Kleinknechts to run the company and since 2003, he’s joined his fresh perspective and experience from the finance industry, with the tradition his father and grandfather set before him. This helps keep Kleinknecht Electric Company innovative and on the cutting edge, without sacrificing the principles of quality work and service that have helped the company thrive for so many years. Mark loves New York City where he lives with his wife and three young children and takes great pride in being a part of its ever-changing skyline. He received his MBA from The Anderson School at UCLA and his undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania. He is involved in many NYC organizations including his children’s school and the Children’s Museum of Art, along with the University of Pennsylvania Lacrosse Alumni Association. In his free time, Mark loves spending time with his family whether biking in NYC, skiing in the mountains, spending time outside, or relaxing at home.
